gen-la kelsang dekyong
29 – 31 mARCH 2019
The Nordic Festival of Kadampa Buddhism is open to everyone. Enjoy an inspiring weekend, with people from all over the Nordic region, developing inner peace through the practices of meditation and modern Buddhism.
Come away refreshed, energized and inspired – equipped with powerful inner tools to transform your everyday life into a joyful and meaningful spiritual journey. In this way, you can bring happiness to both yourself and to those that you live and work with.
The festival is a wonderful and rare opportunity to receive practical and inspiring teachings from internationally renowned Teacher and Buddhist nun Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong. We will also have the opportunity to take these teachings to heart through special guided meditations led by Gen Kelsang Dragpa, the National Spiritual Director of the NKT in the Nordic region.
You can also deepen your experience at the Easter Retreat on How to Transform your Life in Stromstad, Sweden 18-22 April with Gen Kelsang Dragpa.
The festival will be taught in English.
Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni & Teachings on How to Transform Your Life
During the weekend Gen-la Dekyong will also grant the Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism in this world. An Empowerment is a peaceful guided meditation through which we connect to an inspiring source of positive energy. Through receiving this empowerment and putting Buddhas advice into practice, we can awaken our potential to live with a truly compassionate, wise and joyful heart.
