In this one-day city retreat through engaging in the practices known as Mahamudra we can learn to experience the nature of our mind directly in meditation. What we discover is a limitless mind, in particular a mind of limitless potential, capable of universal love, profound wisdom, and unceasing joy.
The tranquility of the pure nature of our mind allows us easily to let go of limiting and painful conceptions of ourself and instead progress towards becoming the free and happy person we wish to be.
This retreat will also help us to improve our concentration which is beneficial in all our daily activities and meditations.
About the Teacher
Gen Tubchen is a Buddhist nun and the National Spiritual Director of the Nordic Region. She has 20 years experience of meditation practice and has studied, engaged in and guided many retreats. Gen Tubchen’s teachings demonstrate her clear and peaceful mind. She uses her experience to guide others to develop the same states of mind. She demonstrates the example of how to apply wisdom and compassion in daily life to overcome problems and benefiting others.
The course will be taught in English.
