about the course

What does it mean to be fearless in this world? It means being free from fear, anxiety and feelings of helplessness. It also means feeling confident, mentally strong and having the ability to help others overcome their fears. In order to free ourselves from our fears , we first need to recognise what fear is and what the origin of our fear is.

Kelsang Loten will explain that through investigating our mental tendencies and our thoughts, and through meditation on love and wisdom, we can discover the inner peace and happiness that already exist within our mind and become free from feelings of helplessness. When we realise that this inner peace and freedom from fear can be attained through meditation, we develop a stable and joyful confidence and help others to do the same. We can skilfully share our experience and help making this world a better place.

Kelsang Loten

Kelsang Loten is the Administrative Director of Nordic Kadampa Meditation Centre in Oslo. She has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since 2012 and took ordination in the summer of 2017. She studies on the Foundation Program and teaches in a way that is clear and accessible for all.
