about the course

What does it mean to be fearless in this world ? It means being free from fear, anxiety and feelings of helplessness. It also means feeling confident, mentally strong and having the ability to help others overcome their fears. In order to free ourselves from our fears , we first need to recognise what fear is and what the origin of our fear is.

Gen Kelsang Dragpa will explain that through investigating our mental tendencies and our thoughts, and through meditation on love and wisdom, we can discover the inner peace and happiness that already exist within our mind and become free from feelings of helplessness. When we realise that this inner peace and freedom from fear can be attained through meditation, we develop a stable and joyful confidence and help others to do the same. We can skilfully share our experience and help making this world a better place.

gen kelsang dragpa

A Modern Kadampa Buddhist monk and the National Spiritual Director of the Nordic Region. He received ordination in 1993 from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and is one of his most senior disciples. Gen Dragpa has taught extensively in the Netherlands, UK, Belgium and France. His teachings are very practical and easy to understand. They offer profound solutions to our everyday problems.
