about the course

Meditation is a way of calming the mind and provides us with the opportunity to develop a positive approach to life. If we practice meditation we can learn to be happy and peaceful no matter what is going on around us. We can learn to let go of negative emotions, bad habits, overcome stress and anxiety. There is nothing more meaningful then this because it’s the way to fulfill our own and others deepest wish, simply to be happy.

In this course, Gen Kelsang Dragpa will teach us how to meditate, the purpose of meditation and how to develop our own meditation practice. This will help us cope with and overcome the business and difficulties of daily life.

A Modern Kadampa Buddhist monk and the National Spiritual Director of the Nordic Region. He received ordination in 1993 from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and is one of his most senior disciples. Gen Dragpa has taught extensively in the Netherlands, UK, Belgium and France. His teachings are very practical and easy to understand. They offer profound solutions to our everyday problems.
