nordic dharma celebration 2019: developing inner strength
Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd November
about the event
The Nordic Dharma Celebration is an annual event, where people from the Nordic Region come together to enjoy teachings, meditations and receive an empowerment from the National Spiritual Director of the Nordic Region.
Gen Kelsang Dragpa will grant the empowerment of Buddha Vajrapani and give teachings on guarding the mind. The empowerment is a guided meditation and a special practice through which we can connect directly with Buddha Vajrapani and receive his powerful and inspiring blessings to help to control our mind.
We will learn how to guard our mind which is the very essence of Buddhist practice. Since the main causes of suffering are deluded and negative states of mind, to be free from suffering we must guard or protect our mind from delusions and inner negativity.
