What happens when we die?

    Death remains one of the great mysteries of life. In this half day course we can discover Buddha's teachings on what death is, what happens at the time of death and how we can prepare for it.

    We will also through an understanding of the death process find a new way to live meaningfully with our own mortality.

    You will also learn special methods to learn to see the signs of death approaching, and how to help others who are dying.

    Resident teacher and Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Dragpa will guide meditations on impermanence and death .

    There will also be opportunities to ask questions on this topic.

    • Gen Kelsang Dragpa is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa meditasjonssenter Oslo, and National Spiritual Director for the Nordic Region.

      He has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years and has been an ordained monk since 1993.

      His way of teaching is very practical and easy to understand.

    • Session 1: 10:00-11:30

    • Session 2: 12:00-13:30

    • How should I dress for class?
      No special clothing is required. Come as you are.

    • What do I need to bring to class?
      Nothing! But if you wish to take notes, please bring a pen and notepad.
