Freedom from pleasing people (Learning to say No)

  • Kadampa Meditasjonssenter Oslo 26 Majorstuveien Oslo, 0367 Norway (map)
  • We all feel that we have a kind heart and a wish to get on well with others.

Sometimes while being kind and considerate we worry about what others think about us or that others may abuse our kindness or see our kindness as weakness. This concern makes us feel uncomfortable and insecure, and can lead to an inauthentic life.

In this course, Gen Dragpa will give some suggestions on how to free ourselves from our preoccupation with what others are thinking and our fears of criticism. This new freedom will help us being our best self and to live our life with confidence and improve our relationships with ourselves and others.

    • Gen Kelsang Dragpa is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa meditasjonssenter Oslo, and National Spiritual Director for the Nordic Region.

He has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years and has been an ordained monk since 1993.

His way of teaching is very practical and easy to understand.
