Who is White Tara?
White Tara is a female enlightened being whose function is to bestow long life, good fortune and wisdom. We need a long life to complete our spiritual practice.

We need wisdom to free ourselves and others from our daily pain and problems and we need good fortune or positive energy to achieve a long-lasting experience of inner peace and happiness.

The compassion of all the Buddhas manifests in the form of Arya White Tara. It is said that living beings receive Tara’s help as swiftly as the wind moves because she is a manifestation of the wind
element of all the Buddhas.

If we engage in the White Tara practice with an open mind we will experience its benefits quickly; Through our own experience we will then be able to rely upon her with faith and quickly receive her protection from diseases such as cancer and contagious diseases, the dangers of fire and other disasters. Ultimately she will guide us to the deathless state of Buddhahood.
