The Buddhist Way of Loving Kindness
The Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Maitreya

17-19 March 2023

Welcome to the Nordic National Festival at the beautiful City Temple in Stockholm with Buddhist monk Gen-la Kelsang Thubten. This festival is a wonderful opportunity to receive practical and inspiring teachings on Modern Buddhism and to enjoy peaceful meditations in the company of people from throughout the Nordic Region.

At this special event Gen-la Thubten will grant the empowerment of Buddha Maitreya who is the embodiment of the loving kindness of all the Buddhas. The empowerment is a blissful guided meditation through which we can draw closer to Buddha Maitreya, receive powerful and inspiring blessings and deepen our experience of loving kindness.

When we have a strong loving mind, our whole experience of the world changes. In addition, others feel this change and respond to it. In this way love has the power to transform our world.

In the commentary we will learn about the special practice of Buddha Maitreya and by identifying with this Buddha’s good qualities, we nurture them within ourselves. In this way we become someone whose love actually transforms the world.

Feel empowered to make a positive difference in your life and in the world – everyone is welcome!
