  • In modern life almost everyone experiences some degree of stress and anxiety. We now also know that a lot of physical ailments are caused by stress.

    When we want to free ourselves of worries, stress and anxiety, we will need to find what their causes are and then lear new ways of thinking so we can reduce and eventually overcome these unskillful habits of mind.

    In this course Gen Dragpa will present Buddha's practical methods of training the mind in meditation through which we will gradually be able to approach all situations with a sense of peace and joy. This will bring about a great sense of freedom and makes our life fulfilling and meaningful.

    Each session will consist of guided meditations and a short talk with an opportunity to ask questions afterwards.

    • Gen Kelsang Dragpa is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa meditasjonssenter Oslo, and National Spiritual Director for the Nordic Region.

      He has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years and has been an ordained monk since 1993.

      His way of teaching is very practical and easy to understand.

    • How should I dress for class?
      No special clothing is required. Come as you are.

    • What do I need to bring to class?
      Nothing! But if you wish to take notes, please bring a pen and notepad.
