Special New Years Event: Outer Peace Through Inner Peace

  • Nordisk Kadampa Meditasjonssenter 26 Majorstuveien Oslo, 0367 Norway (map)

18:00-19:30 - Leave behind the year 2020 and joyfully entering 2021 with a talk on the joy of compassion and the practice of the Buddha of Compassion Avalokiteshvara.

The focus in the talk will be how we can help all beings in this world through improving our own capacity for love and compassion.

As we all meet and are connected with many people, directly or indirectly, when we develop our own inner peace we will have the opportunity to spread this peace and be of great benefit to all living beings.

After the talk we will engange in the Sadhana of Buddha of Compassion - Avalokiteshvara
This sadhana /chanted prayer and meditation, is very blessed.

The main body of the sadhana was composed by a great Tibetan yogi called Drubchen Tangtong Gyalpo. Avalokiteshvara is the embodiment of the compassion of all the Buddhas.

If we rely sincerely upon Buddha Avalokiteshvara and recite his mantra with strong faith, we will improve our realizations of the stages of the spiritual path - especially our realization of great compassion - and ultimately we will attain supreme Buddhahood in the Pure Land of Bliss.
