What happens when we die?

  • Kadampa Meditasjonssenter Oslo 26 Majorstuveien Oslo, 0367 Norway (map)
  • Special course on Buddhist insights into death and dying.

Death remains one of the great mysteries of life. Understanding death and the process of dying is important both for ourselves and our loved ones. We are alive, therefore we shall die. Awareness of this process will help us to come to terms with our own and others' mortality, live a more meaningful and positive life now and most importantly know what to do when we are dying so we can die peacefully and happily without regrets.

In this half day course we can discover Buddha's teachings on what death is, what happens at the time of death and how we can prepare for it. You will also learn special methods to learn to see the signs of death approaching, and how to help others who are dying.

Our Resident teacher Gen Kelsang Dragpa will also guide meditations on impermanence and death. There will also be opportunities to ask questions on this topic.
